OUR PASSION FOR FASHION + DESIGN
In 2012 our founders Christian and Cathrine Rudolph set out to challenge the furniture industry. Up until then, high-quality design at affordable prices was quite hard to come by. So were the design aesthetics and the quality of the materials used. Their idea was to offer high-quality design at fair prices, thus challenging the way we buy designer furniture.
Making the dream possible
Creating high-quality furniture at fair prices has always been at the heart of SOFACOMPANY. That’s why we keep a close eye on every step from the first sketch to the finished sofa and work directly with our own factory.
By keeping the process in our own hands and cutting out unnecessary middlemen, we can focus our resources where they matter: on good design, quality materials and lasting comfort.
It also gives us the flexibility to create furniture that works for real homes and real spaces. From different sizes and configurations to a wide choice of fabrics, our designs can be customised to suit your space, your style and the way you live.

From relaxed office lounges to welcoming hotel lobbies and shared spaces, we work with you to bring your vision to life through flexible configurations and customised solutions designed around your space and needs.
High-Quality Production & Skilled Craftsmanship
Great design deserves great craftsmanship. That’s why we work closely with skilled artisans at our own factory in Vietnam, where more than 1,000 local craftsmen bring our designs to life.
Our partnership with the Hoang family goes back to the early days of SOFACOMPANY. Their experience, dedication and understanding of furniture craftsmanship continue to play an important role in how we make our products today.
For us, making great furniture is also about taking responsibility for the community around us. We’re proud to support local initiatives, including schools and orphanages, and to contribute to the people and communities that are part of our journey.
A sustainable future
We've made SOFACOMPANY sustainable and carbon-neutral, inviting us to rethink everything as we go. From furniture parts to materials, transportation, durability and the production itself.
From solar power at our factory, support of carbon offset projects and environmental NGO's to developing new furniture fabric made out of recycled, biodegradable and sustainable materials.
But being a sustainable company is a state of flux, and we intend to keep improving in every way possible towards a shared sustainable future.
