Sustainability Meets Scandi Design at its Finest
We could not be more proud to be the leaders in the global launch of our new (almost) 100% sustainable Wilson sofa range.
For Mathias Mouritsen, our designer who spearheaded the development, the many choices that culminated in the development of the new range were underpinned by one factor: sustainability.
“Each element has been carefully assessed in relation to the sofa's final sustainability percentage. We have been in contact with developers and manufacturers all over the world and managed to create a model for how we would produce an almost 100% sustainable sofa. Now it is up to the market to show if we have made the right choices”. says Mathias Mouritsen.
The frame on the Wilson is also designed for flat-packed distribution and is assembled without the use of screws.
Our new Wilson sofa represents the first in design that is sustainable both on the outside as well as on the inside.
Wilson is expected to enter the Scandinavian and European markets later this year and will be available for South African taste-makers soon after.
