Hi, Autumn: Healing Home
The concept of 'home' has always evolved around notions of serenity, well-being and a calm and cosy atmosphere. A place that's able to make you let go of the stress and the hustle and bustle from the outside world as soon as you step inside. Shoes off, shoulders down.
But today, home is more than just "a place to wind down". The trend "the healing home" is rising, and it doesn't take much news media scroll to figure out why. So, from a simple "aaah" when we get back home and are finally able to kick back in the sofa, home is elevated to a powerful therapeutic sanctuary. And it shows in an increasing demand for soft, low designs; low-key luxury; curvy shapes; multifunctionality; and a simplicity that fosters boredom. Because these days we need it. In the midst of all this soft and simple, we also see a return of the 70's. Warm brown tones, bold statement designs, and fabrics lots of fabrics.
It might seem a bit contradictory, the calm and healing vs. the bold and playful. But by mixing the two energies, you get a healing ambience that's still able to show off your unique personal style.
